Samsung to Launch a Trio of Foldables, Including a New Tri-Fold Device

Samsung is set to make waves in the foldable phone market this July, with reports suggesting the launch of three innovative devices. Alongside the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, the company is reportedly preparing to unveil a groundbreaking tri-fold device, taking direct aim at the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate.

Samsung’s New Tri-Fold Device: What to Expect

Over the years, Samsung has showcased various tri-fold prototypes, and it seems they’re ready to bring one to market. The device is expected to adopt the “G-fold” method, which folds a tablet-sized internal display inward, offering extra protection. When closed, the device will reportedly measure 9.5mm thick, slipping under the crucial 10mm mark for a more pocket-friendly profile.
