Samsung TVs will no longer support Google Assistant
Samsung first revealed that Google Assistant will be available on its smart TVs in November 2020. It merged with other voice assistants, such as Amazon’s Alexa and Samsung’s Bixby, to enable users to surf channels, operate smart home appliances, open apps, and more.
Google voice assistant is disappearing, but those services can still be accessed through the other voice assistants that are still compatible with Samsung smart TVs. It has been verified that Samsung smart devices will no longer support Google Assistant starting from March 1st, 2024.

As a result, you can no longer use Google Assistant on your Samsung smart TV for the current month of February. Apparently, Google has opted not to provide this service to Samsung, or Samsung no longer wants Assistant on its TVs, which is why the update isn’t happening. Samsung notes that this is “because of a change in Google’s policy” on its website.
Google recently revealed some significant updates for Assistant. Nearly two dozen Assistant capabilities that, according to the company, weren’t frequently utilized have been removed from phones and smart speakers. Additionally, the business has made the decision to discontinue Google Assistant’s Driving Mode by this month’s end. Soon, Google plans to introduce additional capabilities and streamline Assistant, maybe putting more of an emphasis on Google Assistant with Bard.
Samsung smart televisions still support Amazon Alexa and Bixby. You will therefore still have a respectable selection of strong voice assistants to pick from, even though the Assistant will no longer be able to respond to your voice instructions.
