Samsung Unpacked Event Confirmed March 17

Samsung invites you to the next Unpacked event on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021. The smartphone manufacturer has not revealed what it is about – but the official presentation of the new Samsung Galaxy A52 is now expected.

There will certainly be no more surprises on March 17th. We have published all the important details and changes for the popular Galaxy smartphone of the middle class in advance. As a result of the leaks, not only pictures of the Galaxy A52 but also the technical specifications became known. Samsung has now published a short video that brings the invitation to the next big smartphone event. As always, the company is holding back and only lets the date – March 17th – through. In addition, the unpacked event is announced with “Awesome”, whereby the “A” can be interpreted as a small reference to the Galaxy A series:

What can we expect from the event?

There should be two versions as the successor to the A51: The Samsung Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A52 5G are in principle completely identical, apart from the platform. The 4G model is to get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G with eight ARM Cortex-A55 cores up to 2.3 gigahertz. According to our information, the 5G model receives a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G with 2.2 GHz. The Snapdragon comes with an integrated 5G modem.

According to preliminary information, Samsung offers two variants with six or eight gigabytes of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of flash memory. The display of the new Galaxy A52 is 6.5 inches and offers a pleasantly high resolution with 2400 x 1080 pixels. The Galaxy A52 4G will cost 349 euros or $417, while the Galaxy A52 5G will cost 429 euros or $512. The prices can also differ within Europe depending on the country and region.

We will report on the event in the coming week.
