Samsung’s Foldable Phone to Launch in March 2019

Samsung recently surfaced a teaser prototype of its foldable phone, but the price, launch date and name of the phone are not yet unveiled. As per a report, Samsung’s foldable phone would be launched in March and that too with a heavy price.

According to a report from the Yonhap News Agency in South Korea, the foldable attraction of Samsung that was revealed during the past week would be named as the Galaxy F, as per the rumours. The phone would most probably be launched in March 2019 and would have a price of one thousand seven hundred and seventy dollars ($1,770).

DJ Koh—the CEO of Samsung Mobile during the Samsung’s Developer Conference mentioned that the phone would be launching within the first half of next year, and also said that the company has got plans of shipping a million devices within the span of next year that is 2019.

It is pertinent to mention that the foldable phone’s prototype was unveiled during the Samsung Developer Conference.

If as per reports the phone does launch in March, it would be a little later than the launch of another flagship phone of Samsung probably Galaxy S10.

Regarding the price of the phone, the report mentioned that the technology giant has not yet settled on the price of the device.

Moreover, the report suggests that Samsung has the plans of adding 5G Support to its next Galaxy S10 which would be launched in the month of February 2019, most probably at the Mobile World Congress 2019.

According to The Verge, after the launch of S10, Galaxy F would be launched but it would not be having any 5G support.
