Amazon announces the return of the second Prime Day 2025 for October. As a shopping event, the “Prime Deal Days” promise many cheap offers for prime members. Which products can bargain hunters expect and is it worth waiting?
Amazon announced the Prime Deal Days for October 2025. The discount days for Prime members are unofficially considered the second Prime Day and promise interesting offers in the entire range. As usual, the campaign extends over two days – this year from October 7th to 8th. The Prime Deal Days are part of Amazon’s strategy to increase the attractiveness of its prime membership and to boost demand outside the traditional high season.
The Prime Day was originally launched to revitalize the often weak demand in summer. The success of this concept led to the introduction of further shopping events in autumn. Infographic online shopping: Amazon leads to almost all important product groups
At the Prime Deal Days, members can count on discounts in all product categories – almost all manufacturers jump on the train. The offers for Amazon’s own hardware, such as Echo devices (Smart Speaker with Alexa), Fire TV products, Kindle e-book reader, ring safety systems and eero WLAN systems, are usually particularly attractive.
These products are often available with significant discounts, even in current models. However, the experience of recent years shows that the times when one could find one bargain after the other across the entire product portfolio seem to be over.
In order to really benefit from the Prime Deal Days, consumers should consider a few points:
Regular prime membership currently costs 8.99 euros per month or 89.90 euros per year. Students can benefit from a reduced tariff: Prime Student is available annually for 4.49 euros per month or 44.90 euros. Membership offers more than just access to shopping events. The possible advantages also include free and fast shipping, Prime Video, Prime Music, a selection of free E-books, a photo memory on Amazon Photos, free games via Prime Gaming and a general access to early “lightning offers”.
