It was recently confirmed by Gmail that it is redesigning its famous Gmail Service. Apart from the design change, Gmail is also introducing some amazing features for the people.
One of the features is that Gmail will now allow its users to self-destruct the emails. So soon Gmail Emails will have an Expiry Date.
The feature called confidential email will allow users to draft email that is confidential. The user is allowed to change settings per his/her requirements. While composing a confidential email a small lock icon will appear. If you click on it, the recipient of the email will not be able to copy, forward, print or download the email. Furthermore, after a specific time period, the email will automatically disappear from both sender and receiver’s inbox. But the screenshot of the email can be taken. If you are looking for extra security, you can also add two-factor-authentication in the email.

Furthermore, the sender can confirm the identity of the receiver via a passcode he/she will receive via a text message.
At the moment we don’t know if this feature is compatible with those receivers who are not using a Gmail email service. More details relating to this feature and other features will be revealed in Google IO 2018 conference.
