Sharp AQUOS R6 comes with World’s First 1-inch Camera Sensor

Sharp, the Japanese smartphone manufacturer, has recently introduced a new smartphone for its audience. The company is calling it Sharp AQUOS R6. This device is bringing the world’s first 1-inch camera sensor. Since the device is new, let’s explore this smartphone in detail.

Sharp AQUOS R6 Specifications

If you haven’t heard of this company, you’re just like us. We ride the same sailing ship. We would try to explore this company in another post, but for now, we’ll discuss its new smartphone – the Sharp AQUOS R6.

So, this device is coming in strong with the world’s first smartphone to have a 1-inch image CMOS sensor. The camera setup features a low-light autofocus feature that uses a laser to enable high-speed autofocus in low-light conditions.

The lens on this smartphone uses a 7-element Leica Summicron, capable of taking full-scale photographs in high resolution. The primary camera is with the 1-inch image CMOS sensor and has nearly 20.20 million pixels + ToF. The second camera comes with nearly 12.6 million pixels along with an LED flash.

There is an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner to ensure better security. The device is said to have an authentication feature that is 11 times wider than the traditional model. It comes with a two-finger authentication feature.

Coming to the display side, we have a 6.6 inch WUXGA + Pro IGZO OLED with a resolution of 1,260 x 2,730 pixels, a 240Hz refresh, a peak brightness of 2000 nits, and HDR support with an image quality of 20 million: 1 contrast.

Then we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage and a massive 5,000mAh battery with Intelligent Charge 2.0 support.

On the software side, the Sharp AQUOS R6 runs Android 11 out of the box. For now, the company has revealed these major specifications of this smartphone. For more, we are waiting for the company to shared details. We would do the same when we have more information about this new smartphone.
