Shazam receives a significant update for Wear OS watches

Shazam, the music detection software owned by Apple, has a Wear OS app, and it recently got a major update for smartwatches running Wear OS as per information via 9To5Google. To identify music that is playing around you or to find new songs, you can install it on your Galaxy Watch 4 (or newer).

The Shazam app’s most recent version now functions separately from the phone app. Previously, the associated phone had to be within wireless range of the watch. Being able to utilize the app without carrying your phone around is a huge boost. Additionally, when you first launched the app, music would begin to play. The Shazam logo must now be clicked in order for the music recognition to begin.

When your watch is linked to the internet, the Shazam app can identify music even if it is not. When the watch is linked to the internet, it records the music that needs to be identified and then analyzes it. All other devices that have the Shazam app installed are immediately updated with the songs that have been identified.

From the app’s home screen, you can scroll down to see a list of the songs you previously requested be recognized. Any song’s title, album, and artist information are shown when it is identified. You can install the latest version of the app on your devices from the Play Store.
