A leaked mock case appears to confirm the design of the iPhone SE 4

Due to Apple’s biannual renewal of the SE model, we would have typically been closer to the more reasonably priced new generation of the iPhone SE. but this is not the case with the iPhone SE 4. Some previous reports claimed that Apple has postponed the release of the iPhone SE 4 until 2024. Even still, there is still talk about the smartphone in the form of rumors. The design of the iPhone SE 4 appears to be confirmed by today’s development.

There have been several reports that suggest that the upcoming iPhone SE 4 will feature the same design as the iPhone 14 series. Last month, the device was spotted in CAD-based leaked renders. Phone case leaks frequently provide the first official look at the phone’s designs. The same is the case with the upcoming iPhone SE.

According to the leaked image, the design of the iPhone SE 4 is quite similar to the iPhone 14. The power key can be found on the right side whereas the cutouts for volume and mute switch can be found on the left side. The case’s back features a horizontal pill-shaped camera module with a single camera sensor accompanied by an LED flash unit.

The iPhone SE 4 has a notched display on the front that will house the front camera and facial recognition sensors. It’s also possible that the leaked case verifies Apple’s decision to remove the Touch ID sensor from the next SE model. This will also have a larger screen area than the SE 3 because of its smaller bezels. Although previous rumors have stated that the iPhone SE 4 will not be released until 2025, the fact that case manufacturers have begun production indicates that the smartphone will be released this year. Everything is now under Apple’s control.
