Sony is rolling out a new update to its Bravia TV lineup. These devices are receiving the new “Discover” Android TV home screen. Not to mention, this rollout began during the past weeks. Many Bravia TV owners have already received this update, and the company is also sending out emails to customers saying, “Sony Android TV just got a whole lot better.”
Sony announced that with the new update it Android TV screens will be getting a new design. The company announced this back in February this year.
According to the source, “the new Android TV interface does away with the left-most sidebar which carried icons for Apps, Play Next, and other apps such as Netflix and Nvidia Games. It now features three new tabs at the top: Home, Discover, and Apps.”
The Home tab will now accommodate all your favourite apps and channels. The Apps tab won’t be so different from before. With the ‘Discover’ tab, things would go somewhat different. This tab would bring recommended movies, TV shows, and other content from various streaming services.
