Sony lists over 50 optimized games

Shortly before the release of the PlayStation 5 Pro, Sony shared a list of all the games that will appear in an additional “enhanced” version and thus take advantage of the console’s new graphics power. Among other things, particularly high frame rates are promised. Sony

New console delivers better graphics

The PlayStation 5 Pro comes with a new GPU and Sony’s so-called Spectral Super Resolution. This AI-based image enhancement technology is intended to provide higher resolutions while maintaining high FPS. The console also offers graphical improvements such as expanded ray tracing.

New list of optimized games

But the latest and most powerful hardware is of no use if there are no games that take advantage of the additional possibilities. In order to drum up publicity for the PS5 Pro, Sony had already published a list of 20 titles at the end of September that exploit the power of the console. A few days before the release of the PlayStation 5 Pro, they have now expanded the list again. PlayStation 5 Pro: The games that benefit from the new PS5

More titles are to follow

New titles such as Baldur’s Gate 3 and God of War: Ragnarök have been added. However, Gran Turismo 7 is no longer on the list. This is particularly surprising since the improved version of the racing simulation had already been announced and was supposed to feature expanded ray tracing and experimental support for 8K resolution at 60 FPS.

However, as Sony lets you know, not all of the games on the list will be available in an enhanced version. “Many more” titles are to follow until the console launches on November 7th and at later dates. How many there will ultimately be certainly depends on the success of the PS5 Pro. The graphical improvements shown so far in comparisons with the standard version of the PlayStation could not convince all fans.
