In his new blog post, the tipster Assemble Debug has explained the process of remotely uninstalling the apps. The new feature was spotted in version 38.8 of the Play Store. You can uninstall apps from any connected device, just as you can now install them remotely on your signed-in Android devices. Nevertheless, it appears that the uninstalling procedure is a little trickier than the installation function.

The feature will enable users to uninstall apps once it goes live. Now we will have a look at the steps that need to be followed in order to uninstall apps from your Play Store-connected devices. First and foremost, go to the “Manage apps and devices” option in the profile image. Head to the ‘Manage’ section and click on the current device name. It will open a list that will indicate all the connected devices. Select the device from which you need to uninstall apps. Choose one app from the list that appears for that device. Tap the delete symbol located in the upper-right corner to remove the selected app or apps.

According to the tipster, apps can be uninstalled based on their names and sizes. Well, it will be quite simple and easy to delete heavy apps that consume a lot of space on the device. Currently, it appears like the feature is affected by a bug since it doesn’t display all the apps installed on a device. It might be fixed by the company once the feature is ready to be rolled out widely. The app removal option ought to work with Auto, PC, Phone, TV, and Wear OS, according to Google’s changelog.
