SpaceX tested Falcon 9 times in a row when it released the rocket into space

SpaceX recently tested the Falcon 9 rockets nine-times when it released the craft into space on Sunday. This is the first in the company’s fleet to launch and land nine times in a row. The rocket was carrying a new cargo of 60 Starlink satellites.

The Falcon 9 are able to fly 10 times with little or no changes in between missions. As per space.com, the company has two Falcon 9 booster rockets with the capacity to complete 10 flights and is monitoring the wear and tear of the rockets every time they take off.

According to the source, the Falcon 9 rocket that was launched on Sunday also supported the launch of the Crew Dragon Demo-1, the first unmanned test flight of the Dragon spacecraft; the RADARSAT Constellation Mission, or Canada’s new Earth observation satellites; the SXM-7, SiriusXM’s failed satellite that aimed to support its digital radio service; and five other Starlink missions.

During the past couple of weeks, the company has sent a total of three batches of Starlink satellites to space, sending 180 satellites adding to an inventory of over 1,000 up there. SpaceX has two more planned Starlink launches in March.

The company also claimed that 10 might not be the “magic number” and that Falcon 9 rockets could possibly make more flights Once a rocket reaches the 10 flight milestone, the company will examine the craft and make an evaluation if it could “move forward with it.”
