Spatial audio support announced by Apple for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Five vehicles of Mercedes-Benz are going to receive spatial audio support for Apple Music. These five vehicles include EQS, EQS SUV, S-class models, EQE, and the latest Mercedes Maybach.

In a report, TheVerge revealed that Mercedes vehicles need to have a Burmester 3D or 4D sound system in order to support the spatial audio feature offered by Apple Music.

Last year Apple introduced the spatial audio feature to its devices like iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. But now it is for the first time that such a feature has been introduced to a car. In addition to this, since last year Apple Music was available on Mercedes-Benz vehicles directly through the MBUX infotainment system. But now it has been introduced with spatial audio features. Spatial audio is a listening feature that makes it feels as if there is music all around you.

According to the vice president of Apple Music and Beats, Oliver Schusser, Spatial audio is changing the way music was created. It is such an experience that words shortfall to explain it.  Hear it and you will appreciate it. He further added in the press release, that with Mercedes Apple now has greater opportunities and it aims to benefit its users all across the world.
