With the Surface Laptop Studio, Microsoft has presented the most powerful laptop in the Surface product family to date. The special feature: the screen is attached to a special hinge, which means that it can not only be set up at an angle but also folded completely over the keyboard. With the device, Microsoft wants to appeal to creative people in particular.

In the commercial, Microsoft illustrates the unusual hinge technology in more detail. In the so-called “studio mode”, the 14.4-inch PixelSense touchscreen is placed flat or at a slight angle over the keyboard – ideal for drawing with the newly introduced Surface Slim Pen 2.

The other features, however, are less spectacular, but still neat: Inside work an Intel quad-core CPU of the eleventh generation and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti. External devices that require a high bandwidth can also be connected via Thunderbolt 4. For the start of sales in spring 2022, Windows 11 will of course be preinstalled.
