The Galaxy Book 4 Pro and Pro 360 by Samsung are now official

2023 is about to end. Just before the year’s end, we have another amazing laptop series from Samsung, the Galaxy Book 4 series. The series comprises three members, including the Ultra model, a Galaxy Book 4 Pro, and a Book 4 Pro 360. Interestingly, all the members of the series feature a touchscreen.

All you need to know about the Galaxy Book 4 Pro

The laptop will come in two different variants, i.e., a 14-inch and a 16-inch AMOLED display with 2880 x 1800 resolution, 400 nits of brightness with Vision Booster technology, a 48-120Hz variable refresh rate, and 120% DCI-P3 color volume on each variant. Furthermore, the laptop has two different CPU options, including an Intel Core Ultra 5 or an Intel Core Ultra 7. There is Intel Arc Graphics on the CPUs. There are memory options for 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB SSD storage in addition to 16GB or 32GB of RAM.

Some other notable features of the Galaxy Book 4 Pro include a USB Type-A port, an HDMI 2.1 connector, AKG Quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm audio port, a 2MP webcam, a 65W USB Type-C power adapter, studio-quality dual microphones, a microSD card slot, and 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports. Each variant has a backlit keyboard however, the 16-inch Galaxy Book 4 Pro comes with a numeric keypad.

A look at the specs of the Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360

This laptop is available in only one size, i.e., a 16-inch display. As the name indicates, the display can flip 360 and convert the laptop into a tablet. Except for this feature, the laptop is quite similar to the 16-inch variant of the Galaxy Book 4 Pro. The display of the Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 has the same display specs as the Galaxy Book 4 Pro. It comes with the same Intel Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7 CPU, Intel Arc graphics, 16/32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB or 1TB of SSD storage. Moreover, there is no difference in port configuration, webcam, or speakers between the two laptops. But the Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 also comes with a S Pen, which opens up new possibilities, especially when using it as a tablet.

Some details about the software of the Galaxy Book 4 Pro series

The Galaxy Book 4 Pro series comes with Windows 11 Home Edition. However, there have been a few changes to the software by Samsung. Galaxy Buds wireless earbuds can connect to the Galaxy Book 4 series through Auto Switch. Users can have access to new video creation tools through Samsung Studio; likewise, there is a Photo Remaster feature available with the Samsung Gallery app for Windows. Galaxy tablets can be converted into second monitors for the Galaxy Book 4 laptops via the Second Screen feature.
