The Galaxy Z Fold FE and Galaxy Z Flip FE from Samsung are expected to feature this chipset
Most consumers can’t afford the high-end Samsung Galaxy Z foldables given their high process. From this perspective, we have several reports indicating that the company might be working on an affordable option. According to tipster Kro, the company could be working on affordable phones, such as the Galaxy Z Fold FE and the Galaxy Z Flip FE. Along with this, the tipster shared the key specs of the device on X (Twitter).
Reportedly, the budget-friendly Galaxy Z Fold FE and Z Flip FE are reported to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. The Realme 12 Pro+ and Redmi Note 13 Pro also use the same processor. Additionally, the leak implies that in certain regions, the Fold FE may be offered with an Exynos SoC. It could be possibly the Exynos 2200.
According to details, the Galaxy Z Fold FE will arrive in two RAM options: 12GB and 16 GB. The Flip version, on the other hand, will be offered in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. Both devices might be available in 256 GB and 512 GB storage sizes. In the folded state, the Galaxy Z Fold FE will reportedly have 155.1 x 67.1 x 14.2–15.8mm dimensions and 155.1 x 130.1 x 6.3mm dimensions in the unfolded state. In contrast, the Galaxy Z Flip FE will have folded dimensions of 84.9 x 71.9 x 15.9–171.mm and unfolded dimensions of 165.2 x 71.9 x 6.9mm.
