The Gen 6 version of the Fossil Smartwatch is equipped with Wear OS 3
Gen 6 smartwatch by Fossil was launched last August. It was featured with Wear OS and Snapdragon 4100+ SoC. The new update is that it is now combined with the wellness edition.
The wellness edition by Fossil Gen 6 uses Wear OS 3 along with Snapdragon 4100+. The utilization of Wear IS 3 makes the Fossil Gen 6 Wellness edition the first to use Google’s latest smartwatch OS. Thus, with the Wellness edition, you can play the apps like Spotify, YouTube Music, and Facer. Though it does not offer assistance from Google Assistant, you can access Alexa for support.
Another interesting feature is the Wellness app thus introducing health features to the latest edition. The Wellness edition will use VO2 Max to monitor heart rate during a workout and non-workout hours, level of oxygen in the blood, and cardiac fitness as well as it will detect the need for a workout automatically. Additionally, you can also monitor your sleep with updated sleep tracking.
Some other highlights and features of Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition comprise 8GB storage with 1GB RAM and an OLED display of 1.28″. With a size of 44mm you are provided with three different color options. This include rose gold, black, and silver.
