The New Huawei P50 Pro Could Support 5G Network

Huawei has already released the P50 series in China. The flagship comes with a Snapdragon SoC as well as a Kirin SoC. But none of them supports a 5G network, which is a big drawback of the series. However, some recent reports are now suggesting that the company is planning a new model that will support a 5G network.

A recent leak found a test model of Huawei P50 Pro that has a complete radio frequency chip. The leak suggested that this device supports a SIM slot with 2G to 5G network support. The secondary SI slot will support 2G to 4G. Interestingly, this device will also feature a Kirin 9000 SoC.

No word about this leak came out from Huawei and so we can’t be 100% sure of that leak. The leak also said that this device will come with HarmonyOS and a new IMX700Y camera sensor.

The current model of Huawei’s P50 Pro is available in two variants: Kirin 9000 (5 nm) and Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 4G (5 nm). None of these support the 5G network. Other specifications of the current P50 Pro model include:
