The Official Google Ad Reveals the Google Pixel 8a
The tech giant Google is all set to debut Pixel 8a, the mid-range smartphone. Since the last few months, we have been hearing about the upcoming smartphone in form of leaks and renders. As of now, the Pixel 8a was spotted in an ad featuring Google’s own Fi Wireless carrier service.
The new device was spotted in off-white and blue colors in the advertisement. It features a dual camera setup. You might be wondering whether it is the Pixel 8a or any other smartphone. Well, there are several points that suggest that it is the Pixel 8a.
First and foremost, the above-mentioned color options are not available for the Pixel 8. Furthermore, the Pixel 8’s microphone is in close proximity to its cameras and it is not visible in the design displayed in the advertisement. Thus, it is evident that this is the Pixel 8a. However, it’s unclear if the Pixel 8a was accidentally left out of the advertisement or included on purpose.
As far as specs are concerned, no details were shared by Google Fi ad. The ad majorly focuses on pricing plans of Google Fi instead of the Pixel 8a. according to previous reports, the Pixel 8a will feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the same Tensor G3 chip as the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro. It will be available in either 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.
It will feature a dual camera setup comprising a 64MP OIS main camera and a 13MP ultrawide lens. A 13MP selfie camera will be provided on the front. Some reports suggest that the Pixel 8a will feature faster charging. Reportedly, it will feature support for 27W charging.
