The Pixel 9 Pro, with its smooth sides, has already surfaced in leaks

Just recently, we got some fresh leaks about the upcoming Google Pixel 9 Pro. The information comes from the tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as OnLeaks. The renders feature the Pixel 9 Pro from all sides. The official launch of the smartphone is still months away. So, the appearance of the renders at this point is quite astonishing.

Although Google is known for being a leaky company, an early leak like this one is quite amazing. As compared to the previous Pro models, the Pixel 9 Pro is quite different. Like the iPhones, Nothing phones, and the recent Galaxy S24 series, the Pixel 9 Pro has flat sides. Being that it homogenizes the phones from the leading manufacturers, this will probably be a contentious decision.

In addition to this, the camera bar is quite different. Interestingly, the Pro version features the temperature sensor as well, specifically when the one featured on the Pixel 8 Pro is unusable on a human. The tipster claims that the smartphone is 162.7 x 76.6 x 8.5mm with a 6.5-inch display. In comparison, the Pixel 8 Pro features a 6.7-inch display and measures 162.6 x 76.5 x 8.8mm. In simple words, the dimensions of the two smartphones are the same but their screens are different.

Furthermore, the main sensor is a big one. According to MySmartPrice, it could be a variable aperture lens. Even while this is probably just speculation, it would elevate the Pixel 9 Pro to the status of a photographic superpower, surpassing that of the Pixel 8 Pro. Given the fact that these are renders, the information must be taken with a grain of salt. Perhaps we will learn more about the device in the upcoming days.
