The Realme Book Series has been discontinued and removed from the Indian website
In 2021, Realme marked its entry into the laptop segment. The company started with the Realme Book Slim and debuted the Book Prime in 2023. According to some recent pieces of information, the company has discontinued the Book Slim in the Indian market. In addition to this, both laptops have been delisted from the official website of the company.
A few days ago, a user on X (formerly Twitter) questioned the company regarding the purchase of the Realme Book and Realme Watch. The company responded by saying that the Realme Book has been discontinued. The company didn’t mention the specific model that was discontinued. However, the website no longer lists the two laptops. However, Book Prime can be purchased from Amazon and Flipkart.
Additionally, the Realme Book laptops can be purchased from the company’s official sources in China. Currently, there are no details on whether the company is abandoning this segment or will reenter the Indian market with its latest offering.
When it comes to specs, the Realme Book Slim and Prime feature a 14-inch 2K display. The laptops have dual stereo speakers and an HD webcam. They are accompanied by a backlit keyboard. The laptops are powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i5 processor coupled with an Iris Xe GPU. The 8GB RAM and 512GB storage option is available with the Book Slim; however, the Book Prime comes with a 16GB + 512GB configuration. Both laptops have support for 65W fast charging.
