The release of the forthcoming iPhone SE 4 could be possibly canceled or postponed by Apple

Some might suggest that the lineup of Apple smartphones is overfed. While others may indicate that Apple is having an iPhone for any budget. Given this fact, this could be considered true. Since the smartphones by Apple cost way too much. But now, you can get one for $430. Given this, the latest model could not be that modern. But the iPhone SE 3 is rightly priced with its given features.

As per Ming-Chi Kuo, the analyst, owing to the poor sales history of low-model iPhones, Apple might delay or altogether cancel the launch of its forthcoming successor of iPhone SE 3. The successor was projected to be introduced in 2024. Furthermore, he mentioned that the company is concerned about the huge production and selling costs of the forthcoming model. Since the latest model displays a change in design. This change requires a full-screen design.

While the above-mentioned points might be the prime reasons, Apple could also be planning to cut its investment in new projects given the unreliable economic conditions for the coming year. Following this strategy, it is also reported that Apple might reportedly minimize its computer lineup. Thus, leaving its plan of introducing an ultra high-end “Extreme” model of its future Mac Pro.

Though, Kuo has a good record. But we are way too far from 2024. So there is a possibility that things might change. But the important point to consider here is that we have already encountered such a scenario. Apple took a chance and introduced a smaller high-end iPhone with its iPhone Mini 12 and iPhone Mini 13. Owing to the dull and boring sales, the series was kicked off by the company just after two years.

Although smaller phones are attractive and pocket friendly, the market trend indicates that such products are not in huge demand. Even though they are available at low prices. But there could be hardly any space for another iPhone SE.
