The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 won’t get faster charging
The South Korean conglomerate Samsung is expected to organize the next Galaxy Unpacked event in July this year. At this event, the company will debut its sixth-generation foldables. As the time of launch is nearing, we are learning more about the upcoming foldable. Recently, the upcoming foldable were spotted on China’s 3C certification. It displays the foldable devices’ charging speeds, and it doesn’t appear that much will change this year.
On the 3C certification platform, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has model number SM-F7410, while the Z Flip 6 is listed with model number SM-F9560. According to the regulatory listing, the upcoming foldables are compatible with Samsung’s charger carrying the model number EP-TA800. Although the charging speed is not stated clearly, based on the charger’s model number, it has a maximum output of 25W.
Since the first Galaxy Z foldable, the company has stick with 25W charging speed. If it turns out that the sixth-generation products’ most recent 3C certification is accurate, there’s a chance that nothing will change. Earlier this month, the batteries of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 were spotted on Safety Korea certification. The certification reveals that both devices will pack a dual-cell battery setup.
According to renders, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will feature a boxy design with sharp corners. The Galaxy Z Flip 6, on the other hand, won’t feature any such design modifications. It is rumored that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will arrive with a titanium frame. Both foldable phone color variations have also recently been leaked.
