Samsung adds Galaxy AI to millions of Galaxy devices

Bixby

Earlier this year, Samsung announced the flagship Galaxy S24 series with Galaxy AI. As of now, the company is working to introduce it to more devices. Samsung is putting a lot of effort into creating features that use artificial intelligence and machine learning to make people’s daily life more effective, fulfilling, and enjoyable. This is known as Galaxy AI.

The company ahs begin rolling out the Galaxy AI to selected smartphones and tablets via the One UI 6.1 updates. The eligible devices list include: the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy S23 FE, the Galaxy Tab S9 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5.

As an alternative to limiting Galaxy AI to the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung is integrating Galaxy AI into its current flagship lineup and attracting current users. Even while it would be great to see Galaxy AI available on smartphones before 2023, this is still a significant development that deserves recognition.

One thing to notice here is that some of the non-AI features of the One UI 6.1 update will be restricted to the Galaxy S24 series only because of the hardware limitations. However every AI function that Galaxy S24 owners have been able to access since the beginning of the year will be available to Samsung’s flagships debuted in 2023.

Galaxy AI offers writing assistance in messaging and other communication apps, instant Google searches using a simple gesture, live text and call translations, advanced object manipulation in photos, smart summaries of texts, notes, and webpages, and transcribing and summarizing voice recordings. It can even create custom wallpapers and convert standard videos into slow motion videos.

Currently, the update might not be available to all users. However, the One UI 6.1 updates will be available to the above-mentioned devices within the next two weeks.
