Besides the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip release event, Samsung is expected to release two new smartwatches – the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch Active 4. We already have heard about these two new Samsung smartwatches.
The duo will run Wear OS by Google. Previously, Samsung was relying too much on the in-house developed Tizen OS for its wearables. The problem with its OS is its lack of third-party apps. It is best hoped that this will yield better battery life than Wear OS smartwatches are usually known for.
It is reported that the Galaxy Watch 4 will come in 42mm and 46mm sizes, while the Watch Active 4 will come in 40mm and 42mm options.
Moreover, we expect that the Galaxy Watch 4 will have a “traditional watch design,” whereas the Watch Active 4 will have a “casual and simple design.”
The downside of the two devices is – neither will support the blood sugar reading feature.
