Twitter has something new for Twitter Blue users. Previously, the platform introduced the ability to edit tweets to Twitter Blue subscribers. As of now, the company is adding another amazing feature for paying users. As per recent pieces of information, Twitter Blue subscribers will now have a long time window to edit their tweets. Well, these features are not accessible to non-paying users.
Twitter Blue users can edit their tweets within thirty minutes of posting them. Users will be presented with a small button on the top right corner of the Tweet. Accessing this button users can edit and make changes to the tweet. One thing to notice here is that it will generate a new tweet. It means that the original tweet won’t be edited rather a new tweet will be created. Users can paste the original tweet’s text into it. Users can edit the text and repost it. Your updated tweet will still link back to the original tweet, which will be still accessible. So, the original text you wrote will still be visible to readers.
Twitter Blue users have a longer time window to edit tweets
Previously, a rumor suggested that Twitter Blue subscribers will have a time frame of up to one hour to edit their tweets. However, this is not the actual case as users will have a time frame of about half an hour to make changes to their tweets. Well, this is a great addition as users will have the chance to introduce changes and corrections.
As of now, there are no details on when this feature will roll out to non-paying users. till then we have to go by the wait-and-watch policy until or unless it happens. In another case, you can subscribe to Twitter Blue and enjoy the array of new features added to the platform.
