Huawei, ZTE, and BOE are considered the giants of the Chinese tech industry. As per the information from a well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the three companies have collaborated to work on the development of the best foldable OLED screen. The notable feature of this flexible OLED screen is the under-display camera. According to the reports, the future foldable by Huawei i.e., Mate X4 will benefit from this cutting-edge display tech.
Well, the Mate X4 is not the first foldable smartphone that will feature an under-display front camera. this tech has already been debuted with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. However, the tech used by Samsung was not perfect. It well-conceals the selfie camera, but its quality is not that good. However, the Chinese tech giants believe that they have resolved this problem.
The new OLED panel is named Q8. As per the reports, Q8 will solve the quality issues associated with the camera. when it comes to the tech giants’ expertise, ZTE is an expert at this whereas BOE has vast experience in manufacturing displays. A few years back, ZTE witnessed immense success with its under-display camera tech, the company has improved the tech over the past few generations. It is rumored that the new display will feature a 2480 x 1116px resolution and utilize high-frequency 1,440Hz PWM dimming.
