The UK carrier Three (3) has confirmed that it would be selling the upcoming Huawei Mate X foldable smartphone in the UK. The consumers in the UK who have already become the fan of Huawei Mate X by watching its promotional videos, images or leaks would now be able to officially by the phone with Three.

However, consumers that are currently using other networks e.g. O2, Orange, EE or Vodafone would not be able to grab this opportunity; they might have to switch their carrier in order to get hands on this new gadget.

According to the reports, Huawei Mate X would be available to purchase in the UK during the second half of this year, while the exact date of launch is still unknown.

The new Huawei Mate X has heavily priced, it costs around £1,900 to £2,000 but it worth the money spent because it is a two-in-one phone which serves as a mobile phone as well as a tablet. Huawei’s most elegant and advanced piece of technology equipped with 5G capabilities is going to make its way to the market.

However, to use the 5G technology it is necessary to have a reliable and stable 5G connectivity which Three is already working on.

There are also a handful of 5G phones which would be offered by other carriers in the UK during 2019, EE will offer LG V50 ThinQ 5G and it will also offer Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, the Oneplus 5G phone is also in EE’s basket. However, not all the 5G phones are foldable and elegant like Huawei Mate X, as well as Samsung Galaxy S10, it’s up to UK consumers which deal they will pick as Three has strengthened their portfolio with advanced smartphones already.
