Tickets for Visiting Space to Go on Sale Next Year

There is not much time left when the public would get a chance to visit space, as a firm is soon to start selling passenger tickets for the trips to space.

Jeff Bezos—the founder of Amazon would start selling the tickets for sending passengers for suborbital commercial space flights by 2019 via this space-tourism business Blue Origin.

Rob Meyerson the Senior Vice President of the company did not provide many details regarding the ticket prices, he for sure informed though that the company’s New Shepard suborbital vehicle would carry the first space tourists to orbit next year. He said that they are planning to begin the flying operations of their first test flight passengers soon. He added that tickets are expected to be sold in 2019, as was quoted by Space News.

New Shepard has been put through many tests for making sure its safe. As per Futurism, Meyerson has confirmed that the New Shepard would be carrying the passengers soon to space but how much would it cost or how much time the passengers would stay in space is not specified.

The firm claims that the capsule has the capacity of carrying passengers to an elevation of more than sixty kilometres above the Earth, so they feel a few minutes of weightlessness along with noticing the curvature of the planet set against the blackness of space, reported RT News.

Additionally, this has raised to the point that Blue Origin is not the first firm planning something of the sort. Elon Musk’s—Rival SpaceX is also making plans of taking people to moon anytime soon. Another competitor Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic has already advance booked hundreds of tickets reservations costing around $250,000 per person, however, the flight days are still unavailable.
