Top 100 CEO’s: Apple’s Tim Cook Dropped To 53 In CEO Ranking—Glassdoor

Glassdoor issued its annual ranking list. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook falls from no. 8 to no. 53 whereas Microsoft’s Satya Nadella jumps to no. 29 and Google’s Sundar Pichai at no. 17

The rating of top 100 list developed by Glassdoor is based on the survey of employees on the Glassdoor. By surveying employees on Glassdoor, the company creates insights about CEO’s and rate them accordingly.

Anonymous employees leave their reviews on the site. Then Glassdoor’s big data conducts research and look at it to produce final results. This is how Glassdoor created the list of Top 100 US CEO in 2017.

Results for 2017 for large organizations were announced by the company on Tuesday. Total of 26 tech companies CEO’s made it to the list of elite. Some results have seen dramatic changes like; Apple’s CEO falls from escalated number 10 in year 2015 to no. 53 in year 2017. Facebook’s CEO Mark Zukerburg surprisingly keeps falling as he plunged from no. 4 to no. 10 in 2015 and 2017 respectively.

Microsoft’s Satya Nadella first time ever has made it to top 100 list after becoming CEO of Microsoft in 2014. Satya Nadella has secured his 29th position in the elite list.

Google’s CEO Larry Page was no. 1 in 2015 before his departure, Sundar Pichai took the office in late 2017, this year on Glassdoor he could hardly make it to no. 17 but so that was a big achievement for a person, graduated from an Indian institute and now head of Google Inc. one of the top tech companies in the world.

It was also a surprise not to see Amazon’s and Ubers CEO’s around on the list of tech companies. However, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos was at number 33 in 2014’s list.

Do you know who spends the most on personal security in top tech companies?
