The social media platform Twitter is now rolling out a new feature, particularly for Twitter Blue subscribers. Notably, Twitter Blue Subscribers can now download videos from certain tweets. Previously, the platform announced that Twitter Blue users could upload videos up to a limit of two hours. As of now, the new changes will enable users to download certain videos for offline use.
Reportedly, recent modifications have been introduced to the Help Center. Verified users can access the feature from July 25th onwards. However, there is a catch, users can’t download the videos uploaded before the date mentioned above. On the other hand, if a user doesn’t the video to be downloaded, they can turn off the “Allow video to be downloaded” option while composing the tweet.
Making all videos unavailable for download via a toggle on the options page could be a better choice for people who are easily sidetracked. Naturally, only those who follow you can view the videos if your Twitter Blue profile is set to private. In addition to this, the social media platform Twitter has another limitation with the new feature i.e., the feature is inaccessible to users under the age of 18. The option has been turned off for such users by default. It can’t be enabled.
How to download a video on Twitter?
In order to download a video on Twitter, a user needs to access the three-dot menu. The menu can be found in the top-right corner. Followed by this, select the Download video option.
Twitter was entirely a different social media site before its acquisition by Elon Musk. Under the rule of Musk Twitter is destined to become a platform for business as well as normal users for sharing their thoughts and ideas since this is what Musk is aiming for.
On the site, for instance, verified businesses can advertise up to five job openings on their accounts and hire potential employees. A terrific improvement to Twitter since Musk took control is ad income sharing. The platform pays only verified creators a monthly $8 fee. To attract more subscribers, the platform may provide more Blue-exclusive features.
