Twitter Slow Downs Rolling Out Disappearing Fleets Feature Globally

According to reports, on Wednesday, Twitter’s support team tweeted that in order to solve performance and stability issues, Twitter will slow down the launch of the new feature “Disappearing Fleets”.

This new feature called “Disappearing Fleets is designed to allow users to express their thoughts and feelings more casually. Tweets posted by users through Fleets will disappear after 24 hours.

After testing this feature in Brazil, Italy, India, and South Korea, Twitter officially launched the new feature Fleets on Tuesday. However, today’s Twitter support team said: “If you have not used this feature yet, you will not be able to experience this feature in the next few days.”

Fleets’ content forms include text, photos, and videos. The newly released Fleets will appear on the top of the Twitter user’s homepage and the publisher’s profile. At present, major social media companies, including Twitter, are under pressure. The government requires them to improve the principles of platform content review and suppress the spread of false information.
