UberPITCH 2018 is launched for Pakistani Entrepreneurs

The concept of startups has emerged in Pakistan over the last couple of years. Entrepreneurs are coming up with new ideas, implementing them and are getting productive results.

UberPITCH is a platform for all the young aspiring entrepreneurs who need support to fulfill their ideas. It is basically a competition in which hundred of entrepreneurs present their ideas from all over Pakistan, and the best ones are selected. The program will train and provide resources to the entrepreneurs who come up with a brilliant idea. It is a collaborative project between Ignite and National Incubation Centres aiming to encourage innovation.

UberPITCH application procedure

People from all over Pakistan can take part in this competition.

Submit your application by clicking on this link. On 8th September applications will close and top 20 startups will be selected from every city. After the selection, the startups will go into the UberPITCH camps in all major cities of Pakistan namely Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta.

At the PITCH camps, mentors like Umair Jaliawala and Kamran Rizvi will be present. They will help the selected startups and offer them advice and training.

Then the selected Startups will have to convince some of the biggest investors in the market. They will have to present their idea to a panel of judges. If they do it successfully, the winner will be awarded an opportunity to collaborate with ArabNet.
