Earlier this month, the Apple Vision Pro was officially launched. However, the brand’s most recent wearable product is seeing a dramatic fall in demand in the US market just one month after it was released. A week after its launch, customers began returning their Vision Pro devices. Numerous people voiced complaints over the device’s various features, including motion sickness, user discomfort, and more.
However, things didn’t end here. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the shipments of Apple Vision Pro has drastically decreased. On the other hand, according to a Medium report, the shipment time for the headset has been improved to 3 to 5 days. Due to early adoption and dedicated customers, the headset sold out immediately upon debut. However, the demand quickly declined.
According to Kuo, the shipments are less likely to grow in the US market until or unless the company decreases its price or add more practical applications to the headset. However, increased headset supply would aid Apple in preparing for the Vision Pro’s worldwide debut. According to analysts, the company might introduce an affordable version of the headset with lower specs. Furthermore, there are some reports regarding a new model with upgraded specs.
Ming-Chi Kuo clarified that both of these plans have not yet been officially announced by the company. It remains to be seen how Apple makes the Vision Pro more appealing for the US and international markets, as early adopters are already questioning their $3,500 investment.
