Vivo V9 launches today in Pakistan

Vivo is all set to launch its mid-range affordable V9 phone in Pakistan, today on April 5th 2018. The smartphone will launch in an event in Lahore. The event will be held in PC hotel and renowned Pakistani celebrities will be part of the launch ceremony. Juggun Kazim will be the hosting the event as she tweeted,

“Excited to host the Vivo V9 smartphone launch event happening tomorrow in Pakistan!”

Coming to the specifications, design, and display of the phone, V9 will have a bezel-less notched screen which will remind one of iPhone X. As claimed by Vivo it will have 90% screen to body ratio.

The display of the phone is 6.3inches. It will have an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2880. On the back of the phone, a fingerprint sensor is placed along with dual cameras that are positioned in a vertical orientation.

The phone is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 626 processor. The internal storage of the phone is 64GB along with 4GB RAM. A microSD card slot is available.

The phone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with Vivo’s Funtouch OS.

There will be dual cameras on the rear with 16 & 5 MP setup along with dual LED flash.  On the front, there will be a single 24MP camera. The battery of Vivo V9 is 3,260 mAh. There is no knowledge of any fast charging support, though chances are that there will be fast charging option available.

The expected price of Vivo V9 in Pakistan will be around Rs 38,000. Though the exact price is yet unknown.
