Vodafone loses $140 million everytime Mohammad Salah scores a goal

Vodafone, an Egyptian telecommunication company, has signed a sponsorship deal with a football club Liverpool F.C. and company offering 11 free minutes of free calls to its over 43 million users every time Mohammad Salah, an Egyptian football player scores a goal.

The managing director of the football club and CEO of the company, Vodafone had signed the deal. According to the details, the offer began on March 20 and will be continued until the season’s end.

11 free calling minutes to 43 million clients would cost the company at least $140 million, according to the Vodafone’s pricing for calls.
