Warner Bros. announces the start of the open beta
Warner Bros. sends their colorful platform fighter MultiVersus in the open beta: Interested parties will soon be able to get their fists flying as Batman, Bugs Bunny, or other characters from well-known franchises. At the upcoming launch, of course, there will also be a new gameplay trailer for free-to-play.
MultiVersus will enter open beta on July 26, 2022, at 18:00 GMT for all players on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Crossplay and cross-platform progression will be fully supported at launch. There is currently no end date for the open test.
There are multiple game modes to choose from in the beta, including 2v2 and 1v1 battles, local matches, or custom online lobbies. A total of 16 playable characters will be available at launch, including Batman, Superman, Shaggy, Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry, the space giant, and a brand new character named Reindeer Dog. There are also a number of different levels, such as the Batcave or Scooby’s haunted house.
Those who participated in the MultiVersus closed alpha will receive an invite code for early access to the beta and will be able to continue playing from July 19th.
