According to Google, the new features as well as the convenient user experience attracted more consumers to the Wear OS. Furthermore, the tech giant mentioned that the camera app of Wear OS 3 can be used for capturing selfies. Otherwise, it could also be used as a shutter button on Pixel phones. Additionally, the Google Home can be utilized on a smartwatch with the recent OS. It can then be used to control all connected appliances.
Fast Pair was introduced on Android in 2017. As of 2022, it has reached 320+ million connections 2022. It consists of headphones from different brands like JBL, Sony, OnePlus, and Beats. In addition to this, other stats were also shared by the company. Approximately 3 billion devices have the access to Nearby Share. Furthermore, the casting feature is also observing increased support for various apps.
