What are the specs of the HONOR V Purse?

Honor presented the Honor V Purse at IFA as a fashion-forward concept smartphone. However, the smartphone is no longer a concept but an actual product. The company has debuted the smartphone in China and shared all the relevant details.

Although the Honor V Purse is a fashion-forward device, it can still be used as a regular smartphone. It is an outward-folding smartphone. There are not many such devices on the market yet. Users can convert the smartphone into a fashion accessory by using the different variations of straps.

Specs of HONOR V Purse

The HONOR V Purse is less than 9mm thick with one display. Compared to the HONOR Magic V2, the HONOR V Purse is slightly thinner. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC. It has support for 16GB RAM and comes in two different storage options, i.e., 256GB and 512GB, as well as an expandable storage option.

In the unfolded state, the entire display measures 7.71 inches and features 2348 x 2016 pixels, 1,600 nits of peak brightness, and 2,160 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It is an OLED panel. In the folded state, the display measures 6.45 inches with a 2348 x 1088 resolution. The remaining specs are the same here.

Battery and cameras of HONOR V Purse

The HONOR V Purse is fueled by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 35W charging. A charger can be found within the box. The smartphone features a side-facing fingerprint scanner on the right side. The software of the smartphone features HONOR’s MagicOS 7.2 skin as well as Android 13.

The smartphone features a 50MP primary camera on the back. It is accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide unit. Furthermore, an 8MP camera can be found on the main display. It comes with Bluetooth 5.2 support and stereo speakers.

The HONOR V Purse is available in three color options

The Honor V Purse comes in three different colors: Camellia Gold, Elegant Black, and Glacier Blue. It is priced at CNY5,999 ($822) in China. The device can be availed of via (limited) pre-order in China. Currently, there are no details on whether the device will launch globally or not.
