WhatsApp might make it more convenient to post Status updates

WhatsApp is one of the most popular chatting platforms. WhatsApp is constantly working on enhancing the platform with the latest features. However, these latest features are clashing with the older ones. Currently, the Channels update has taken up space in the Status tab. For now, to update status, you need to tap two floating action buttons at the bottom right of the screen. As per the latest information, an upcoming redesign will make the feature more streamlined.

In the beta version of WhatsApp, Android version 2.23.26.13 has revealed new icons beside the status header. Along with that, another redesign update is in the testing process, which will bring a pencil and camera icon to the three dot menus placed at the top right corner of the screen. This update will make it convenient for people who like to post a bunch of status updates daily. Although the platform is trying in multiple ways to access the icons, we don’t know yet if it will make its way towards a stable platform.

Despite updating to Android version 2.23.26.13, this latest feature is still unavailable for users. WABetaInfo revealed that this feature will be rolled out for beta testers on a large scale shortly. According to the article, certain users of the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.26.12 might have been fortunate enough to discover the rearranged buttons.

Although this would be more of a little UI adjustment, WhatsApp recently added features like the ability to pin specific messages within chats that many assumed were already there. Nevertheless, there were some issues with this implementation, as WhatsApp can only allow users to pin one message at a time. Fortunately, more information from WABetaInfo showed that the chat app was beta testing the feature that allowed users to pin numerous messages at once within chats.
