With an Aquatouch display the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is released globally

OnePlus has debuted the OnePlus Nord CE 4 in the international market. The design and physical appearance of the smartphone is the same as the OnePlus Ace 3 debuted last month in China. However, there is a slight difference in specs. The newest smartphone is the replacement for the Nord CE 3 from the previous year. Significant improvements are included, such as a new design. The mid-range model is the Nord CE 4.

It has a flat frame. On the right side, power and volume buttons can be found whereas the three-step alert slider is present on the left side. A pill-shaped camera module can be found on the back. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 is IP54-certified dust and water-resistant.

When it comes to display, the smartphone features a 6.7 inches AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 certification, and 1,100 nits of peak brightness. It has the support for an in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone also has the Aquatouch display technology, which is exclusive to the OnePlus 12 line of high-end smartphones. It follows that consumers can operate the device with wet hands.

The camera setup of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 consists of a dual rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. A 16MP selfie camera is also a part of the package. It can record 4K video at 30fps. Richer and lifelike images are produced by the RAW HDR algorithm.

It packs a 5,500mAh battery unit with support for 100W fast charging. It includes a Battery Health Engine that is supposed to extend the battery’s life by up to four years through increased charging cycles.

It runs on OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 OS out of the box. The device is eligible for two years of OS updates. The device has multiple connectivity options, such as a USB-C connector, GPS, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi6, and more.
