WoW Dragonflight: Blizzard Invites Players To The First Alpha Phase

Alpha testing of the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion Dragonflight has begun. Blizzard offers a preview of the new Dracthyr class, the first area of the Dragon Islands, the dragon that flies itself, and the completely revised profession and talent systems.

Since the announcement last night, more and more WoW fans have been able to access the coveted test phase, for which invitations are going out in waves as usual. In order to send player feedback to certain areas, the Dragonflight alpha is also divided into several stages. So not all content or features of the extension are currently available.

What content does the Alpha offer? The first phase limits Blizzard to the new zone “The Azure Span” and the combination of race and class, the Callers of the Dracthyr. Players can also try out the new kite feature and take advantage of the user interface improvements. Revised talent trees are already being offered for the Death Knight, Druid, Hunter, Priest, and Rogue classes, while the professions focus on alchemy and blacksmithing.

WoW Dragonflight: So you can join the alpha/beta

Signing up for the current and upcoming trials of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is relatively easy. To enter the raffle, interested parties must log in to the game’s official website with their Battle.net account and follow the “Beta” menu item. After a short confirmation, the registration is complete. Now the random principle determines whether you will be selected to participate in the alpha and beta phases of the online role-playing game.

Blizzard generally communicates invitations via email and in the Battle.net launcher in the WoW game version selector. How long the test phase will last is currently uncertain, as is the release date of the extension. So far, the developers have only confirmed the goal of releasing Dragonflight this year.
