X is testing two new features

It seems like Elon Musk is all set to make X an ‘everything app’ as he announced a few months ago. According to some recent pieces of information, the platform is now testing two new features. It includes game streaming and live shopping features.

The upcoming game streaming feature will enable users to connect Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) with X Media Studio. In this way, X Premium users can directly stream ages from their accounts. The CEO showed a demonstration video to showcase the game streaming feature, in which he played Diablo IV for 54 minutes.

Elon Musk further states that the feature is under testing and is not bad at all. However, it is currently hard to set up, but with time, we will make it effortless. With this feature, users will have a unique interaction with their subscribers. Although the new feature portrays an impressive quality, it lacks a few creator-side features that are available on other such platforms.

While Elon Musk claimed pay rates for videos that are comparable to those on YouTube, the company’s infrastructure is also having problems as a result of a recent large-scale wave of layoffs that included engineers from the reliability division. This was made clear by the numerous streaming glitches that plagued a live discussion between Musk and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

The live shopping feature

According to reports, X has collaborated with Paris Hilton’s 11:11 Media company. Four original video-based programs will be generated by this company on a yearly basis that will incorporate the live-shopping feature. In addition to this, Hilton is also the launch partner for the company’s forthcoming consumer products and services.
