Xiaomi 12 Series to Bring 3 x 50MP Camera

Xiaomi is working on a new series – the Xiaomi 12 series. The company plans to unveil the series later this year, which could be mid-December. Thanks to many tipsters out there, we are starting to get some insights about this upcoming series.

According to tipster DCS, there will be two devices from Xiaomi with a triple-camera setup, having an all 50MP camera module – we disclosed this information a few weeks ago. He wrote on his Weibo account:

Next year, there will be two flagship camera smartphones with 50MP + 50MP + 50MP three-camera solutions, with a super-outsole main camera + high-quality super wide-angle + high-pixel super-telephoto. It’s the new main camera

We don’t expect every device from the series to get this camera configuration, but one. We heard from a source that the device getting this feature could be the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Moreover, we also heard that this device will have a main camera with “an ultra-large bottom solution, supporting 1920fps super slow motion.”

We also heard that his series will abandon the four-curved design, replacing it with a beautiful hyperboloid solution. It will have a relatively smaller curvature, which will be easy to handle and have better display features. The Xiaomi 12 series will also feature thin-bezels and a small center punch-hole.

Digging deeper, we heard that this Xiaomi series will also feature a device(s) with Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC – the latest from the company – an AMOLED LTPO adaptive refresh rate screen, and a 5000 mAh battery with wired charging support of 120W.
