Xiaomi is working on a new series – Xiaomi 12 series. The series will have three models – the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12 Ultra. The company might not release all three models simultaneously. Reports suggested the company might release the standard model in mid-December; the rest to follow.
According to further reports, this Xiaomi series will use the latest Snapdragon 898 SOC, which is expected to be released by this month’s end or at the beginning of the next month.
According to tipster DCS, the Xiaomi 12 will come with 100W fast charging and a large battery. If that stands true, it would be the first time for a Xiaomi’s standard device to feature such large charging support. The higher models are like to come with 120W fast charging.
We also heard this Xiaomi device will feature an LTPO adaptive refresh rate screen that could be between 1 – 120Hz. The same device is also likely to come with an automatic adjustment of the display.
Besides that, the Xiaomi 12 will have a 5000mAh battery and wireless charging support of 50W.
In other news, we also heard the series will run MIUI 13 out-of-the-box. According to the company, this latest UI will arrive at the end of this year and will meet everyone’s expectations.
