Motorola Edge 30 Ultra AKA Edge X Unveiled Ahead of Official Announcement

Motorola is working on a new device – the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. The company hasn’t said much about the device, but rumors are floating that this device might come before the year end. The company has also started showing signs of a new device with the name – Moto Edge X, which is most likely the same device as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.

There are also rumors revolving around this Motorola device’s specifications, although the company is silent about it. According to tipster TechnikNews, this upcoming Motorola device will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+.

Under its helm, the company will equip Qualcomm’s next flagship chip to this device; it could be the Snapdragon 898. The chipset will come with 8 GB and 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage options. The device is unlikely to feature any storage-expandable option.

Camera-wise, the Edge 30 Ultra will have a 60 MP selfie camera, featuring support for 4K video recording. The rear side will house a triple-camera setup – a 50 MP (OmniVision OV50A) as the primary lens, a 50 MP (Samsung JN150) ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP (OmniVision OV20B1B) depth sensor.

The whole device will generate its power from a powerful 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. It would take only 35 minutes to fully charge, while 15 minutes for half of it.

For European markets, this device will come with Google Assistant. It will also include an IP52 rating, stereo speakers, three microphones, a mic for audio zoom on the back, Wi-Fi 6, 5G (sub-6GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, and Android 12.
