Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC
The Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro, the company’s flagship smartphone series, were launched by Xiaomi last month. For the past few years, the firm has been adding an Ultra model to its flagship smartphone series, in addition to the base and Pro variants. The company is expected to introduce the Ultra model for the series soon. The upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be a successor to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. We still don’t know much about the impending device, even if certain details have already leaked. Its launch schedule and battery capacity are now disclosed by a fresh series of leaks.
A new report from CNMO indicates that the smartphone will include a 5,500mAh battery. As compared to its predecessor, the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a 500mAh increased battery capacity. According to the publication, the company might be opting for a huge battery capacity to give users the opportunity to benefit from the device’s camera for a long time on a single charge.
A Weibo account named Fixed Focus Digital asserts that the company will announce the Xiaomi 14 Ultra next year, in March 2024. In the past, in December 2022, the company debuted the Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro, whereas the Xiaomi 13 Ultra arrived in March 2023. In light of this, the most recent leak appears plausible.
Some rumored specs of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra
According to the leaked sources, the smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Similar to other members of the series, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra might feature a quad-camera setup, including a 1-inch Sony Lytia LYT-900 sensor.
