Xiaomi introduced its gaming lineup Black Shark today, including the Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro. We said a little about these two devices in the last week. Today we would try to cover more.
The two devices have a lot in common, with different chipset under the hood and camera features.
Both of these devices have a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED screen by Samsung with a panel that allows for a 144Hz screen refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate.
Both devices come with 120W fast charging with a battery capacity of 4,500 mAh, which is said to charge the sets from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes.
The Black Shark 4 has a Snapdragon 870 under the hood, while Black Shark 4 Pro has Snapdragon 888. The Pro variant also has a two-layer liquid cooling system. The first cooling layer is just below the screen, while the other cooling layer is with the valuable internals.
The Pro variant has a 64MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, with an auxiliary 5MP sensor with the former two. The regular variant has a 48MP main camera with the other two, and the selfie unit inside a centred punch hole retained.
The Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro come with pressure-sensitive shoulder keys to differentiate between a light tap and a hard press, letting you do different things with each. There are also two-mode switch keys on the right side and the fingerprint scanner/home button in the middle.
The UI is a JOYUI 12.5, based on Android 11.
The Black Shark 4 comes in three colour options – Magic Black, plain Black, and plain Silver – and four memory configurations. The price of each does like this:
The Black Shark 4 Pro has also four variants, costing:
