Previously we heard that Xiaomi will be releasing the new Xiaomi CIVI by September 27th. This new smartphone is actually the new name for Xiaomi sub-brand CC. It’s the latest mid-range smartphone from the company. We heard from rumors that this time there’ll be only one device in the Civi series.
The latest Xiaomi CIVI smartphone is said to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. It’s a new chipset launched this year. It’s built on TSMC’s 6 nm process and is an alternative to the 780G (Samsung 5 nm). The chipset is paired with four Cortex-A78 based cores, a high-end Adreno 642L GPU, and an X53 5G modem. The whole chipset maintained its temperature by the protection layer of nine layers of graphene. The 642L GPU is fast enough to run games at 90 fps.
The Xiaomi CIVI will also feature a 6.55” curved OLED with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The 1080p+ OLED display supports both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Camera-wise, the Xiaomi CIVI has a 64 MP primary sensor with 0.7 µm pixels natively. Then there’s a 120º ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8 MP sensor. The third one is a 2 MP macro camera. At the front, we get a 32 MP shooter with an autofocus lens.
This upcoming device will have a 4,500 mAh battery, supported with a 55W wired charging support. There will also be stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a Hi-Res audio certification.
The pre-sales for this smartphone start today in China. The device will reach the shelves by September 30th. Prices for this device goes like this:
